Saratoga Fruit Estate is a proud legacy that began in 1965 when the Doms family acquired this beautiful piece of land in the Breede Valley, Robertson. What started as a stud farm for thoroughbred horses and a vineyard for wine grapes has blossomed into a multifaceted agricultural enterprise over the decades.

Our Evolution

In the early 1990s, recognizing the shifting landscape of agriculture, we diversified our crops to include citrus and stone fruit, catering to the growing demand in the export market. With dedication and foresight, we phased out the horses and expanded our orchards.

In 2014, we embarked on a new venture, introducing blueberries to our farming portfolio. This addition not only diversified our offerings but also aligned with our commitment to innovation and excellence.

Continued Growth

Driven by a passion for sustainable farming and a desire to meet evolving consumer needs, we recently ventured into vegetable farming. Our produce, grown with care and expertise, now reaches local and international markets, bringing the essence of our farm to tables worldwide.
