Saratoga Fruit Estate - Work With us
- Saratoga Fruit Estate is a third generation family-run farming business located in Robertson.
- The farm was bought by the Doms family in 1963.
- Due to the warm Mediterranean climate of the area Saratoga is able to grow fruit all year round.
- During its summer season (October to March) the farm can harvest and pack up to 60 tonnes of stone fruit per day, including peaches, plums and nectarines.
- In the peak citrus season (April to September) quantities of up to 80 tonnes per day of lemons and soft citrus.
- The farm also produces 1200 tons of blueberries on three separate farms from September to December.
- Due to the high production volumes a team of close to 300 people are employed year-round.
- Saratoga’s fruit is enjoyed around the globe as it is shipped to supermarkets and retailers based in the UK, EU, Middle East, and the Far East.
- The farm provides on-site housing for 120 of its workers.
